Cody Mincy (RHP) deserves some attention

Cody Mincy was not a name I thought about for who was going to be large contributors to this year's bullpen. His first 2 games in a SC uniform though were very impressive for the limited relief work he's received.

Altogether, Mincy has played for 2.1 innings, he faced 8 batters and struckout 5 of them, 0 walks and only 1 hit (single.) Yes, it's very early and there's not a lot of data yet, but this weekend Wil Crowe deservedly got a lot of attention (SEC Pitcher of the Week,) but Mincy still did a fantastic job. Hopefully he's consistent and continues to build upon this great start.

Mincy is a JUCO transfer from Spartanburg Methodist and took his JUCO team to the JUCO CWS last year.
