celmson DC Venables is one of the most overpaid, overhyped, worthless DC's in all of the NCAA. He rode Coach Stoops coattails for years at OU. Lorenzo Ward has outperformed Coach V BY A LOT. Ward is a Top 20 DC in the NCAA, Coach V just cracked the Top 50 statistically, however, this chode gets paid as a Top5. I'm not hating him, way to stick it to the Tater checkbook.

Taters are the best about ignoring the numbers and facts, they'll tell you about Stoops glory years at Oklahoma in the early/mid 2000's, but what they won't tell you was that is when Mike Stoops was there running things on the Defense.

While Ward was technically the DC, Ellis Johnson ran the defense until 2012.

But I agree with the premise that Ward>>>>>>>>>>>Venables

Ward has done some good things with the youth he had this year after about the first month of the season. Hopefully they continue
