Some names to keep an eye on as the season draws near:
Former MLB eighth overall draft choice Carter Stewart struck out five batters in 4.2 innings pitched Friday, March 20 for the SoftBank Hawks as his squad defeated arch rival Chiba Lotte Marines 4-2 in an exhibition game.
Stewart is an intriguing dynasty piece as the 198-cm righty touched 154 kph in his outing, and the lone run he allowed was a home run to former New York Yankee farmhand great Brandon Laird.
Laird has blasted more than 150 homers in five great NPB seasons.
More updates on the practice games as information continues to roll in.
When is our draft?

Former White Sox legend Dayan Viciedo showing some oppo pop with an opposite field, one hopper off the wall to drive in a run.
Could be a power source steal in the later rounds

While I appreciate the effort, this just makes me more pissed off.

Not even gonna hate.
I was scouting Liga Mexicana de Beisbol players about a week ago looking for any Kenny Powers.
