265’s junior golfers heading to Scottsdale...

to compete in the junior golf team National Championship this weekend. Here’s a piece KTBS did on the news tonight. Good luck to them on bringing the hardware back to Shreveport.

The program that Toms established will last decades, if not longer, than him.

Shreveport is producing some crazy good golfers right now.

In U18 you have a couple golfers from the NO area couple from BR, one from CeNLa and from NELA the. The rest from Shreveport - and they can all play. And when I say rest, you are looking at 10 kids that will have D1 offers between now and 2023....and I ain’t taking UALR.

I have not looked at the junior scoreboard recently but last summer it was full of Shreveport kids.

And you aren’t even mentioning the fact that Sam burns grew up out there and is now on the pga tour, and a few other lsu golfers spent a lot of time there as well

Thought most folks knew 265 was a pipeline to LSU already.
