I know we got blown out. But Georgia kept their starters in far longer than I would have thought, and were frustrated enough to try converting a fourth down, etc. late in the game.
The players proved that they can stop power running. Had to sell out to do it, but we couldn't even do it previously. Georgia's best runs were outside, except for a few plays in the first 3 quarters, and 2-3 more in the 4th. Even then, the runs that worked for Georgia were 8-15 yards, instead of 15-70.
Georgia has great receivers that caught most anything near them. Mostly, our secondary was there defending the passes reasonably well.

There were more Mizzou jerseys swarming the ball than I’ve seen in previous games

Yep. As I posted before, had our defense played this way against tenny or tamu those games could have been close. Potentially beaten uk and bc

You need to turn in your badge bc your post is not popular with the suicide squad. I agree tho but I’m sipping a large glass of kool-aid.

On their last series each it looked like Drink wanted Macon to pass more and for Cook to run more; kinda switch roles if you will. Cook is a better runner than probably any of us thought and Macon has a good arm but he has to stop the sidearm BS

Agree. After watching that I think Mizzou has a chance at 2 of the last 3.

Ya I had no idea Cook had wheels. Both can take hits too.

I'm wondering if Macon is the type whose arm motion changes according to the throw type. Until the two long throws, I figured Macon must have bad arm mechanics.
Both Macon and Cook had no touch on short throws, firing it in too hard and not accurate enough.
Cook seems to achieve his top speed quickly, but if he keeps taking those kinds of hits he won't run as well.
Macon has an elusiveness that will provide more against non-elite defenses.

But Macon knows how to move 'just a tad' to keep from getting skullfricked He needs to teach Cook that move
