Apparently 40 people decided to stay on Grand Isle. I honestly don't see how they're not dead right now.

That police station is strong and probably high enough to survive. But if you staying in a lifted trailer off foster lane in fake grand isle you should really worry

Still kicking it. But, I posted on my phone so I'll be able to post as long as the towers are going. I'm shocked that I do still have power though.

Me too, all I can say at this point is good luck. I know some supplies left last night from some churches here and many other places too I bet.

Louisiana became the first state ever to have 150 mph hurricanes to make landfall in consecutive years. Wow.

My Aunt lives out in Sherwood Forest (been there 50 years) and evacuated. We rode out Andrew when we all still lived in BR, so wasn't sure why she's heading out for this one?

I'm not sure. I remember Andrew too. That's pretty much what I'm expecting.

She may just not want to deal with the aftermath with no power and shite like that.

No not even close. We haven't even gotten the outside of it yet. We got a rain band earlier. But, it's not even raining here right now. Eye isn't supposed to get to us until around midnight or 1 central time.
