4 man shifts from quad receivers aren't common at all. It changed from a likely screen/pick to a power running play. If it is just a shift, then why is it a whirlybird?

Yeah, you’re missing the point. I didn’t post it because they shifted. I posted it because they spun 270 degrees in the wrong direction (on purpose) for absolutely no reason at all, thus the “whirly bird” reference - from Auburn’s spinning fullback pass glory days.
