What a misguided take. Miami could have named the score against Nebraska in the Rose Bowl. 2001 was still an era before the PlayStation offenses like today. Miami could have won 3 in a row but as another poster mentioned, they got down big early and the rally fell short against Tuiasosopo and Washington in the 2nd game. Miami paid them back the next season 62-7. FSU laid an egg against Oklahoma and that gave OU the title. The 2003 Fiesta Bowl OT pass interference was robbery even though Miami should have won regardless and not give up a 4th & 12.
