I didn't say that. His career started with Terry Bowden (10 years). And then he worked for Bobby Bowden for two.
There's no question Saban was a huge influence, but when we are talking true coaching trees, Fisher spent a lot more time with the Bowden family and is a part of that tree.

Hell, for that matter Muschamp started as a GA with Bowden too.

Bama fans have a really weird attachment to Jimbo for some reason and I think that it's because he's been successful and worked for Saban.
