Many all-pro receivers are like that. Wide receivers are divas these days and that’s the nice word for it. Literally nobody can watch the Kentucky and Miss State games and say he’s not a competitor. In the State game I wouldn’t be surprised if he told Nix throw him the damn ball and let me shut this muh fricker up.

This is kind of a half-truth and not diving into it fully. The all-pro receivers who are "like that" more or less had to EARN that "privilege" - you won't find many "average" receivers in the NFL who get to pout like that and keep playing. And how many of the all-pro guys were "inconsistent" in college? The problem with Seth Williams is that that behaviour already manifests as an obvious deterrent in his performance at the college level. Again, the guys who do that in the NFL generally couldn't be stopped in any collegiate game they played - that isn't the case with Seth Williams. And of course some of that boils down to offensive scheme and quarterback play, but let's step away and differentiate that there's a difference between Randy Moss, Steve Smith, Terrell Owens or whoever else we're "thinking of" and Seth Williams. Him dominating Kentucky or Miss State should be a given, not something that proves how "alpha" he is. His issue is going to be when you turn on tape of him running into a good opponent, getting frustrated early, and then basically giving up. It's easy to act like the "alpha receiver" against scrubs. Those guys who carry those personality warts and are all-pro receivers in the NFL don't have very many off-days...and thats off-days in the NFL. They most certainly didn't have many off-days against college defenses.
Your posts are always incredibly long. They are informative and I read them and have no bone to pick. Just an observation.
