Yes, but it isn't until the last few years that the NFL has gone to shotgun the majority of the time. I would argue that having a talented and physical center last year was the main reason that A&M's offensive line was considerably better than the year before.

It's also why I am not too worried about the OL next year if Matthews can stay healthy.
