I used a PSA lower parts kit in an Aero/BCM build recently and everything went together pretty easily. This was the EPT and I did have some initial issues with the trigger resetting.
Examined the trigger group and where the hammer and disconnector interface, both of the edges were pretty sharp. I ended up very gently filing both edges and no issues since. It probably would have broken itself in but just FYI if you encounter this issue.

Uhhhh. If that was the sear engagement surfaces, you really need to be careful. Those surfaces are supposed to be square. If you rounded them, which is what it sounds like you did, it can result in the gun firing when bumped and / or going full auto. Both bad. With AR's, if you get fire control parts that aren't acting right it is generally advised to just replace them. I would get some new parts in there if you removed metal from those surfaces.
