Why even build a new arena? I went to a couple of games when I was in school there and it seemed to serve its purpose just fine. Investing in basketball is good for the entire AD. It’s a sport that can very easily profit. Football benefits from basketball profit because then less football money goes to hoops.
It seems pretty clear you’re just trying to push bball fans’ buttons, but in case you’re being serious... chill. We have some of the best football facilities in the country and they get better seemingly every year. That’s never going to be a problem.
