Think I know to whom you are referring. If he’s the guy I’m remembering, he was dismissed in Dye’s first year.

1981 was a tough year, but the close losses to Nebraska, UT and Bama showed that we were capable of competing with the elite as a program. By the end of ‘82 we knew we had arrived.
