A search warrant obtained by LSU police detectives the following month revealed that Ausberry, the deputy athletic director, had been sitting on a text message confession from Davis for more than four months. On April 14, 2018, Davis texted Ausberry admitting to punching Jade Lewis in the stomach, according to the police report.
But Ausberry never reported the incident to the Title IX office or police. In July 2019, Ausberry was promoted to executive deputy athletic director and executive director of external relations for the university. He earns $500,000 a year.
Good Lord.

The transfer portal and the NIL will destroy college football as we know it.
It will be interesting to see how the fans come back from the pandemic - some long time season ticket holders may never come back. College football attendance will be affected especially when ticket prices get raised to offset the huge revenue losses.

Then again I wonder what the power brokers in B'ham and Tuscaloosa will say. They may want to break LSU once and for all. After all they've been colluding with the referees to make favorable calls to win games against LSU for the past 15 years.
Pushing for the death penalty against poor LSU wouldn't be far fetched.
ETA - Y'all some half-asleep folks this morning.

Not if you read the Rant after some of the LSU losses versus Alabama since 2008.
I can't tell you how many FBI threads I've read from drunk rantards talking about RICO violations.

There is one significant flaw in that article.
Woodward didn't become AD until April of 2019.

You missed all the RICO conspiracies involving the SEC office, REC and the refs. They were awesome.

The only thing that pops off the top of my head was the Patrick Peterson INT but that was a 24-15 game

Oh no I’ve seen them all. Just LSU fans on the rant being delusional. Real LSU fans I talk to don’t believe in any of it.

Got it. Use the italics next time

So it looks like we are having to rely on the USA Today, instead of the Baton Rouge Advocate, to report on what is going on there in the LSU Athletic Department.
Is the local media, who I would presume have the sources to know the ins and outs of what has been going on there, asleep at the switch or looking the other way to get along with that athletic department?

Not to be insulting, but that's a pretty high opinion of yourself you have.
Perhaps they're the real LSU fans, as demonstrated by their passion; and you're just a casual Side-walker?
