Beating the shite out of that low-down, lying, cheating, scumbag pathetic excuse for a program and making sure they know their place is in the gutter.

Also a mostly guaranteed win over a p5 opponent looks good.

It's a valid question. A lot of people don't care about the rivalry these days since it's not really competitive anymore. We don't really gain anything by beating them, but if we lose we look like assholes.

There was a time when sort-of normal people went to Tech, and it was a fun and competitive rivalry. It's pretty much an exclusive compound for off-the-boat Asians and weirdos now. People who have the grades to get into Tech go to schools in nicer cities with nicer campuses. And who can blame them? Downtown Atlanta is so fricking shitty.

Agree wholeheartedly. We need to wake up to the world we find ourselves in and start thinking like our enemies do

Step 2) make GA/FL home and home

This argument could be used for a handful of rivalry games.

Yeah, the students may suck, but I don't think it would be fair to the "normal" tech alum.

Although from a strategic perspective it would make sense, there's too much history there. And if we were to cancel it would look like it was just to give the middle finger to their fanbase. We would look like douches imo.

If I was granted only one change to the rivalry schedule I would keep Tech, and make UF a regular home & away series (or whatever the correct terminology is). Maybe alternate Jax & MBS.
