Tulsa used to be in and out of the top 25 almost every year when I was in high school. Marshall has had some decent years as well. This is not abnormal at all. UCF just won a natty and Florida State has become irrelevant in the past 3 years. How is this season any more weird than that?

However, it doesn't help LSU's case, or yours, that LSU can't find their way into the rankings when teams like Marshal and Tulsa can.
