Arkansas runs a very smart scheme for a team without a lot of back end talent. They basically force the QB of the other team to be patient and smart and consistently make the right throw and decision. That works against probably 75% of the teams they will play.

The problem is, against the 2-3 teams that have QBs who can both do that and have WRs who can beat that zone deep, plus can punish them enough in the run game, they will get absolutely shredded. However, they'd get shredded by those teams REGARDLESS of what they did.

Still, seems like a pretty sound overall plan to me.

Did you see what both MSU and Ole Miss HCs threw the ball most of the time and were too stubborn to make any adjustments and/or run the ball at the right time. I am like what kind of HCs that are too dumb to give interceptions? They both should have won if they made some minor adjustments. MSU still didn't maKe any adjustments against Kentucky. I am guessing you do not realize that some HCs didn't make the right/or any adjustments against Arkansas. The key is change what you normally do on offense when play teams that will be at your disadvantage. Missouri did that against Kentucky and won. very different from the LSU game.
