I am a little worried about us defensively. We've struggled with some specific stuff the last week or two and we gotta work some things out.
I feel really good about the offense right now. Ball movement is great, Bruner is back, JQ is playing well, Primo is back involved, etc.
What a difference two weeks can make, right? To think we would be worried about the defense right now and the offense would be carrying us through the last few games is hard to believe, but it’s definitely true. That being said, I don’t think the defense is struggling as badly as the offense was at its low point. The team also seems to get back to playing solid defense pretty quickly after some 5-10 minute lapses.
I assume we will see similar stretches during the final three regular season games as some guys knock some rust off and the others get used to playing with the full lineup again. Hopefully, by the time SEC/NCAA tournaments get here, we will have everyone firing on all cylinders on both sides of the ball.
It was a great game for Bruner to come back and get some work and Herb and JQ are finally starting to look nearly 100% again. I really like the timing of everything coming together right now and think it sets up nicely for us to make some noise in tournament play.

I didn't think our D was that great today, was good in the first half but we gave up 49 points in the 2nd half. I think we have to play better on defense than we did today to beat Arkansas and I think we will. We are capable of playing a lot better on both offense and defense than we did today. I think we overlooked Vanderbilt a bit.
I agree.
