I'm not in wait and see mode with Cox. If he got the number 1 jersey, and is playing a position that Grantham develops as well as anyone in football, outside of injury I would almost put it as a lock he is one of our three best defenders. That number 1 Jersey on defense only goes to elite players. Cox didn't get it unless he absolutely earned it.

Yeah, guys earn that jersey.
No way the most important part of our defense got that number without putting in that hard work.
Cox will likely be outstanding for us at that position.
