He was a true freshman going against SEC competition. He has probably improved since then. He has put on a ton of muscle when one of the knocks against him was not putting in work in the weight room.
I am in wait and see mode for him (and every Gator in a new role).

I'm not in wait and see mode with Cox. If he got the number 1 jersey, and is playing a position that Grantham develops as well as anyone in football, outside of injury I would almost put it as a lock he is one of our three best defenders. That number 1 Jersey on defense only goes to elite players. Cox didn't get it unless he absolutely earned it.
