A lot of the preseason love for the Aggies is that they had a dream schedule. Something like half of the teams they played were breaking in new coaches, which is unreal. I cannot recall a season that set up so perfectly for a team to take a big step forward.
Then all that went down the terlet with the change in schedule. Everyone's expectations haven't adjusted to the new reality yet. A&M could have a very good team that struggles to win 6 games this year.
My guess is we are going to see winning percentages more in tune with the NFL than we are used to with college football. A good college team can go 9-3. A good NFL team will probably go 9-7.
