You can simultaneously have a severe distaste for police brutality and abhor the BLM organization. For instance: BLM doesn't talk about where its donations go, in fact, no one knows where they go. A lot of people (left and right) dislike this aspect of it because BLM appears to be making itself out to be an organization mimicking the Al Sharpton's of the world: Perpetual Protest Movement that leaps in the air and clicks its heels whenever a black man is killed by police instead of pumping capital into poor neighborhoods (regardless of race).

They have said repeatedly that they are expanding the organization, but the ones who get fricked the most from BLM are the black business owners who don't have enough insurance to cover the damage to their businesses and of course, poor black people once again.

If you want to help black and impoverished people out, take your goddamn fist out of the sky and start sponsoring families, even if it's a marginal amount of money at least the capital is going to the people struggling the most.

And not to a couple of posturing, woke pieces of shite who will perpetually work to ensure that only specific injustices have attention.

Because no one remembers the names of the homeless guy in New York who got shot in the face with a rubber bullet, or other whites who were harmed by police during the protests or in day to day life.

This one sided pearl clutching indignation is exactly the reason why more whites are becoming "closet" racists, because if people are going to constantly call you by that epithet, why not just adhere to it?

I love Dan, but this is just political posturing.
