Most of those occurring within the last 20 years, which backs up my original point. Between Neyland's retirement and the arrival of Mark Richt at Georgia in 2001, Tennessee had still won more conference titles (8 vs. 7) and just as many national titles (1 vs. 1).

Uga was better than the vols in 70’s,80’s,00’s, and 10’s. Vols better in 60’s and 90’s. That’s a 4-2 advantage for uga, which backs up my original point.

Tennessee Record (1970-99): 250-98-11
Georgia Record (1970-99): 236-108-7

Record wise, Tennessee and Georgia were even in the 70s. Georgia had a clear advantage in the 80s while Tennessee had a clear advantage in the 90s. Which pretty much proves my point that Georgia didn't start to pull ahead of Tennessee until the 2000s.
