While I agree, Clemson can't help that. Let's say, you got a place that you gotta be. One path is through a thick wooded area. The other path is a clean and paved path. I'm still going to the same place regardless the path but I'm taking the easiest path which is the clear and paved road. Clemson has beat Alabama twice in 4 games since the CFP. LSU has only beaten Alabama once in the last 10 years. If I could avoid the SEC schedule and still win the national championship, hell yea I would take the easy route. You get the same ring.
