Jimmy Whitt Jr.
This team is special and it's Jimmy Whitt Jr. that makes it go. Time after time throughout this season so far every time Arkansas needs a momentum killer or a boost on offense he has stepped up.
I think his shooting form is an atrocity, but he is this team's rock. I think this guy has a bright future ahead of him in the game of basketball. He shows flashes of NBA talent.

Bailey has played great. No doubt about it. His game has improved tremendously. I can't give him the nod over Whitt though. Whitt has been our most consistent player IMO and when the team has needed him he hasn't let them down even once.
If Jones and Jo3 are cold, Whitt becomes our primary scorer. And I love how he operates out of the high post area. We need that for spacing the opposing defense considering we are lacking big bodies in the middle.
He is absolutely invaluable to this team.

Jimmy, Adrio, Mason- all have done very well. Also, I’d like to add the little lightening bolt Desi to the mix. He’s been fun to watch and had some excellent moments when we needed them badly.

I think Desi is our toughest player. He is an outstanding defender and plays with a chip on his shoulder. I love how he consistently gets points in the paint. Even over the other teams post players.
Great ball player.
Great ball player.

Whitt at the point has been the glue this team needed.

Absolutely. I won't be surprised if the guy ends up playing in the pros. He's got a good motor, good length, good handles, good basketball IQ, GREAT midrange game and an ability to create his own shot whenever he wants.
It would be nice to see what his role would become if Arkansas did have a good big man.

It's refreshing to see so many of our players stepping up and playing their asses off.
Jimmy is an absolute leader and fights hard for steals and rebounds.
Adrio is a beast on defense with steals and blocked shots.
Desi is always fighting for rebounds and loose balls and even out-rebounding and blocking guys that are a lot taller.
And the great thing is that even when our offense gravitates towards Joe and Jones, these guys don't seem to mind stepping into the role of facilitator. Bailey seems like he's having a blast every game even if he's only getting 2 points.
Just a lot of selfless play from these Hogs

They have all played important roles, it's been fun to watch. Mason is an absolute assassin though. I'd be very curious to know what his 3 point percentage is in the last 5 minutes. It seems like game after game he just starts shooting daggers in the last few minutes.
