Isn't it possible that instead of all the purely speculative scenarios posted here, that when HY interviewed LK he didn't like what he heard? It is quite possible that our number one choice wasn't LK.

Yurachek got far down the road with him at Houston and hired major Applewhite so yes. It is entirely possible he doesn't like Lane despite the fans being behind it
