The issue is that he will have no way of knowing how his recovery will be going...at the January date to declare, he will still be on non-weight bearing activity only.

Tua Tagovailoa will meet with the media on Thursday, December 5, at 2:30 p.m. in the Naylor Stone Media Room at the Mal Moore Athletic Facility. This according to to ESPN 97.7 the zone Twitter.
