Well, you know...the bells and whistles hire can actually win games as well.
We don’t have to make a hire that will put the fanbase asleep to win games. In fact, it’s likely a deterrent. It’s definitely a deterrent in recruiting.

Yeah we tried that approach in another sport with Quin. While I liked Quin then and now, how did that ultimately turn out? Unless Kiffin has shown he has matured (which his tweets prove he hasn't) the school that hires him is taking a big risk. In Mizzous situation, we should stay clear from that. Clawson would be a good hire, although I'm more intrigued with Norvell and Clark.
