Not as they are defined today, I like college football as it is because it offers an education for those that wont make it, but it is the NFL minor league and it should be treated as such.
I think a system where cfb receives financial aid from a general nfl fund- all names and associations can rename the same would be good. Essentially structure so still have free tuition, etc. But instead of being a financial burden on the university, that cost is largely borne by the NFL. Profits over and above could be used by the university.
Seems to be a logical direction as we start to pay players for their likeness, and eventually for their play.
