I think it's bullshite that A&M isn't ranked.

How are they any different from these other teams that struggle against weak opponents?

They had to play three current top 12 opponents and two of them they lost by a combined 22.

Why should Okie State and Texas easily be ranked but they aren't at all?

I understand what you are saying, but they are just tough to accurately gauge. They are 6-3 and yes they have the best collection of 3 losses in the country (Clemson, Auburn, Alabama) but their 6 wins are pretty bad:

Texas State, Lamar, and UTSA are cupcakes nobody pays attention to and then you have:

Arkansas (a terrible SEC team they only beat by 4 points, they need to blow teams like Arkansas out)

Ole Miss (a mediocre team they only beat by 7 points)

MSU (probably their best win - by 19 points over another mediocre team)

If they blew Arkansas and Ole Miss out you might actually see them in there with the other 6-3 teams in the CFP rankings.

Yeah, I have to respect that. This committee really isn't trying to go on the unknown.

They seem to be going on exactly what your results say. If you struggle against a average or bad team you're punished. If you beat a very good team it is good for you; even more than if you lose a tight game to a bad team.

As you correctly stated A&M have no impressive victories and they struggled with poor teams.
