State of Gamecock recruiting for 2021

I know we're over 15 months away from NSD 2021 but given the state of the 2020 season, the number of spots we have left in the 2020 recruiting class, a general consensus on who our remaining targets are for 2020, and both 2020 signing days occuring over the next 3 months I think it is appropriate for fans to start looking at what's coming down the pipe for 2021.
Per 247 our 2021 class currently has no commitments and 1 decommit. We have offered 150 guys, and are only "warm" with 8 of the prospects we offered. There is also a deficit with the talent of SC's prospects given there are currently no prospects with a composite rating higher than 0.8900 (3*). We have also seen an uptick in UT's, UF's, and UNC's recruiting capabilities in addition to a significant amount of our targets also being targets for Clemson and UGA every year.
I know everything I've written is based off 247 and that I'm not on the football staff, but I'm writing this to express concern and to hopefully reduce how surprised the fanbase on this board is when the 2021 recruiting class is potentially ranked outside of the top 20 for the 4th time in Muschamp's 6th class he's recruited here.
I have faith there will be some pleasant surprises but am not as optimistic as I was during the 2018/2019 cycles. I think the situation can be summarized by realizing recruiting is getting harder and asking ourselves if the opportunity of playing here is getting better. Time will tell, stay tuned.

Could be worse. You could be Arkansas. Shockingly staring down the barrel of being winless in the SEC for two straight years along with losses to San Jose State and Colorado State has not done wonders for our recruiting efforts.
The best way to fix recruiting woes is to win.

They dont generally start accurately rating 2021 guys til after 2020 signing day. The "warm" "cool" stuff doesnt really update til then either. There is a noticable lack of SC recruits but they are still having their Junior Seasons right now.
Dont panic. Itll be ok.

Do you have any wins at all in those 2 years? Yes? Okay then.
Some of us lived thru no wins AT ALL in 2 years.
Be thankful for the smallest of wins, my friend. It could always be worse. Just ask us.
