Coming from aggie fans, the Houston area belongs to Texas and Texas A&M. North Texas(DFW) are on lock down from OU. That honestly sounds about right.
Again all things being equal(meaning we don't have a coach who is tanking us to new levels we haven't seen before like now for extended times) I see no reason why Baylor Tech TCU or OSU. I bet a lot of kids would rather stay close to home and play in front of family and friends consistently rather than just play in the SEC because well.... SEC.
That is something as of right now we can't offer. I'm not saying we should definitely leave either. Just adding to the conversation.

If Arkansas doesn't hire a competent coach, it's not going to matter where we recruit. The best players are not going to want to play for a poorly coached team.
