Take the judgement out of it.

If you go down due to injury and can not get off the field quickly then you should not be permitted back in the game for the the current defensive series or the next one.

We need to make sure the players are safe and not hurt.

It may sound extreme but I am passionate about it. We had a linebacker who almost suffered a career ending injury during the Arkansas game a few years back.
