re: Should A&M punt on the season?

I never will understand the mentality (or ego) that causes a coach to continue to ride players like Franks, Mond, and Stephen Garcia just because they show great potential 1 out of every 4 or 5 games and suck the rest of the time versus playing the guy that might not set the world on fire once in a while but won't get you beat. Maybe when they are a freshman, I get it. You see the potential and think you can coax and coach it out of them consistently. But when they are upperclassmen and they've been doing the same stupid shite 70% of the time, it's time to move on, potential or not.

Pull the plug, throw the freshmen out there.
