You admittedly probably know more about what's going in the soccer world than I do. I'm a pretty fairweather soccer fan, even though I've always enjoyed the sport. My interest is mainly restricted to following ATL United and watching the EPL on weekend mornings. Also love the big international competitions.

I'm aware the MLS is making strides and that has certainly accelerated the last few years. I just think the gap between its popularity compared to the Big 3 American sports leagues, and the level of competition relative to the Euro leagues will never come close to being bridged. You seem more optimistic, and I could be wrong.
