1) 1922 - An 8-0-1 squad in the new Southern Conference whose defense was absolutely suffocating. A measly 16 points were scored against the Commodores. Texas managed to score 10 points in their attempted defense of the Texas State Fair but fell 20-10. Tennessee scored 6 points in a failed attempt to earn win number 3 in the rivalry's 20th game. The tie occurred against a 6-0-1 Michigan team.
2) 1921 - The were 7-0-1 with the lone tie against a UGA squad that finished 7-2-1. Only 21 points were scored against the Commodore defense all season, 7 by Georgia and 14 by Kentucky (their first points EVER against the Dores) in a 21-14 Vanderbilt win. The highlight of the season was probably a 20-0 win over Texas at the Texas State Fair in the first of a 7-game series at the Fair.
