BC had 27 points

Tech had 27 points
Wisconsin had 35 points
LSU had 33
That's some pretty high numbers for some very average offenses. The year before their defense was really good in 2016, especially creating turnovers. They weren't that good last year. It's not like Wisconsin or LSU are exactly elite offenses either. They played in a weak conference, on the weakest side of the weak conference, and got beaten badly outside of the conference vs LSU and Wisconsin.
That isn't a good team, and defense really isn't that great.

You got an oddly placed bar. 27 isn’t a lot of points.
Also, FSU only scored 20 o points. LSU 26.
