East, TN is pretty mild by the time kick off rolls around (early September can be hot but not terrible but mid-Sep is great). We have a lot of picture perfect weather in September. It's the same for Middle, TN and Kentucky. That said, both E. TN and M. TN are apt to heavy rain at least a few days in September, sometimes that will fall on gamedays but it usually just causes a rain delay.
Mid-September in Tennessee is some of the best weather you can get.
