NCAA Moves 3 Point Line

Does this hurt or help us? Some of our players have no problem launching some bad looks from 3. This will either lead to more bad looks or less shots taken. Harper would be fine....not so sure about Bryce last year. Will we have to change our play style? Or does this spread the floor for easier open looks? Will McLemore and Wiley benefit in the lane from better spacing?

Maybe I’m over thinking it, but it seems that this simple rule change could disrupt our style of play. The nega in me sees Doughty, Purifoy, McLemore tossing up a bunch of bricks all season. We will need some shooters to step up if we want to make any type of run for the SEC this year.

What do you guys think? Big problem or not a big deal?

We can call it an anti Bruce Pearl rule but Villanova lit it up 10 3 point shots better the year before. More like an anti-trend rule.
