(Intramuscular) The drug is called rocephin and it's almost always reconstituted with lidocaine bc it burns like a motherfricker otherwise. I asked the doc to order it straight up. I didn't mix it with anything other than normal saline and popped him in the left and right hips using the largest gauge needle I could get away with. This boy was yelling like someone was killing him and dropped to his knees and stayed there for about 45 minutes. I gained immense satisfaction from it, he never knew the difference and he never returned.
