Trash bag.
Fish batter bag.
Fried fish holder. (after adding a few paper towels)
We still request paper for our cold items to be placed in at our local grocery store. Then bring them home and save them for above mentioned uses.

To help ripen bananas and avocados in addition to uses at fish fries.
My little brother had a high school job at a grocery store. During the plastics bag roll out time, he’d ask if they wanted the kill a tree or choke a fish.
Walking one cougar’s groceries out, she told him she had an itchypussy. So he started looking for a fancy foreign car.
