I'm incredibly perplexed at how mad this show makes you. Goodness.
Yeah I'm sure Martin doesn't have time to watch Game of Thrones... he's too busy stuffing cannolis down his gullet.
I'm surprised you haven't had a problem with Tyrion. Who the hell likes Cersei and Ramsay Bolton, but NOT Bron? Are you ill?!

He's written like 5 full essays in the last couple pages on how much he hates Arya

I like characters with actual development and whose intentions aren't there for fluff.
Cersei goes through, probably, the most of any living character at the moment.
Loveless marriage, taboo love that ends abruptly, watching her children picked off one by one, shamed in front of the entire population she's lord over. Friendless, no family (now) and always willing to do what's necessary to come out on top.
Tyrion has a rough story, so I'll give you that one -- and while it's super indulgent how the writers have made him a hero several times over I'm okay with him doing it despite his limitations. He's also had quite a long, arduous character arc which makes for good television.
Even Ramsay, whose mother dies at a young age and who must always try to gain his father's approval despite being the son of a mistress. Dreadfort, for all of its horror, is at least interesting.
A lot of people have been waiting for a decade.
"Winter Is Coming". If this is the true end of the Night King and not a trick, then it's extremely anticlimactic and anti-Game of Thrones.
All of the fantasy tropes of good guys with plot armor were nonexistent for the majority of the series.
