I missed the game unfortunately, happy to hear that Terry looks better. If he isn't better, we're in trouble this year.
And this
is fantastic news.
Defense will no doubt take a step back, but hopefully, they aren't the equivalent of a wet paper bag on the field when facing a mac offense
I am cautiously optimistic for this season. I don't expect us to win 10 games again, but I do think we can make a bowl and be competitive in every game.

Terry Wilson's receivers only had one drop the entire game

There was a sophomore WR named Oliver (6'1" from Florida) who was just killing them all game. He saved Gunnar Hoak from two interceptions fighting for the ball. He literally stole one from a DB and made him look foolish. Ended with 8 receptions for 104 yards and a TD. Not bad for a backup.
The only drop for Terry was a tight end in the end zone. He hit him on time with a perfectly placed throw.
Overall Terry was much better. He could still be quicker on his reads but he was decisive and more important accurate. He nailed 2 deep balls, one to Bowden and one to Epps.
Gunnar Hoak couldn't hit the broad side of a barn the first half but he settled in during the second half and became more accurate. Still not a lot of speed on his balls... Well until he does. It's weird. It's like when he's certain he slings it.
Running backs Rose was good although I still question his power. Smoke came out of today looking like the best back showing great patience, power and speed. He even had a couple receptions out of the backfield.
I have the game recorded on YouTubeTV. Sadly there's no way to share it
