People usually think the new guy or the backup is gonna be better. It’s ridiculous. It’s has a name, backup qb syndrome but it applies to all sports and all positions really.
One of my Penn State buddies was convinced that Miles Sanders was gonna be a better RB than Saquon Barkley last year.
