Agree with you BigBird,was about to say the same thing. What Sexton has more than anything is a fierce competitive nature,desire to work hard and harder to get better and not rest and rely on his talent. That is what a supreme athlete needs to achieve greatness.
NBA is full of athletic freaks but men are separated from the boys by the work put into their game. Obscene amounts of money kills the upward trajectory of most careers.
Motivation dies quickly. IF Sexton remains humble and dedicated to the game he can be a Hall of Famer.

Garland hasn’t proven anything to me and we already have “fans” proclaiming him being better than Sexton. It’s comical. Cleveland wants to build something similar to Portland. Sexton deserved to be on the first all rookie team this season. He will be an elite scorer one day.
Dude averaged 19 ppg once he became the starter and shot 40% from 3. One of the fastest players in the league and with his 6’7 wingspan plus his vert he can finish over bigger defenders. Go watch him cook Embiid.
Sexton needs to work on his playmaking and his defense but it will come. He’ll be a star in a few years. I honestly feel that if Sexton had played for UK or Duke he wouldn’t get near the amount of criticism.
