For most schools, a 2020 signing class will not be solidified until next February. The Alabama football staff is so far along to another No. 1 class, it is possible the Tide will be finished by the end of the Early Signing Period in December.
The Crimson Tide currently has the No. 2 class, behind Clemson and followed by LSU and Georgia. While it could finish early, Nick Saban will probably hold a spot or two open for one or two elite prospects to sign in February.
The Crimson Tide staff is taking advantage of the state of Alabama having more than its normal share of talented players in the 2020 cycle.
Eight members of the 2020 class are from the state of Alabama.
