I bought a 2017 f150 xlt that had cloth seats. I wanted leather but didn’t want to go up to a lariat package, so I had leather installed by CSC in Baton Rouge for $1000. Imo leather is a must, but you don’t have to buy a truck with it to have it.

I did similar. For the price you pay, you can get much higher quality leather for cheaper, by having a shop install aftermarket.

If you buy heated cloth seats, can you still upgrade to aftermarket leather?
