That’s patently incorrect. Coley adjusts for strength of schedule and in 2018, the Journal Science Advances rated it the 3rd most reliable on ranking synthetic data sets. This year it has UCF ranked 7th despite UCF going undefeated again. If SOS wasn’t adjusted, we’d be top 4.

There's more teams that are undefeated and 1-loss than last year at this point.

Colley's "strength of schedule" is not a true SOS calculation. Its version is the record of the opponent. If you play teams with better records, then your SOS is higher. Nevermind that those teams might be Memphis or South Florida instead of teams that are worth a damn.
Your sagarin rating is 20 (which is about right) and your best sagarin win this year is Pittsburgh (50). Last year, in your "Colley national championship year," your final sagarin rating was 13 and your best sagarin win was Memphis (32).
So once again, sit down and shut up, junior.
