I don’t know what you are asking.
The NCAA has a list of banned substances. If you test positive for one in a test they administer you get a ban. Recreational is half the regular season - 6 games for football. PEDs are a calendar year.
If you are asking if it could be Mary Jane, the answer is yes but those are the rules. Bama does not usually say what it was, so the only conclusion we can draw will be based on the amount of time they miss (unless the players say what they got popped for).
